1. Discuss/Act on the Chippewa Fire District Memorandum of Understanding.
2. Discuss/Act on the City of Altoona possible Joining the Chippewa Fire District.

1. Meeting called to order according to Chapter 19.84 of the Wisconsin State Statutes.

____Mr. David Staber/Town of Lafayette ____Mr. Tom Zwiefelhofer/Town of Howard
3. Public Comments: Public comments are limited to five (5) minutes and will be limited to issues that have an impact on the Chippewa Fire District. An exception to the five (5) minute limit may be made at the discretion of the Fire Board Chairman. The Fire Board may discuss but cannot act on public comments.
4. Old Business:
A. Discuss/Act on updates to the Chippewa Fire District Memorandum of Understanding.
B. Discuss/Act on the City of Altoona possible Joining the Chippewa Fire District.
5. Adjourn:
The Chippewa Fire District will attempt to provide reasonable special accommodations to the public for access to its public meetings, provided reasonable notice of

Chippewa Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners, and Board members for the Village of Lake Hallie, Town of Hallie, Lafayette, and Howard may be in attendance to observe the Fire Board Meeting. If there are more than three members present from a Town(s), Village, Fire Commission this may create a quorum. Such a quorum is unintended, and the members are not meeting for the purpose of exercising the responsibility, authority, power, or duties of any Board or Commission.

Town of Howard
Sealed bids for 20ft. wide x approximately 4015 ft. long on 40th St. north of 90th Ave. south to 82nd Ave. Marks on road. Add 2” 1 ¼ course base course. Grind road. Salvage base on hill. Cut hill-move to bottom. Remove stumps. Cut bank on west side to road ROW. Move material to bottom of hill, straighten and widen road. Replace salvaged base course. Cut new ditch on west side. 1 new driveway on west side. Replace and repair driveway east side. Grade, compact and pave 2” compacted bituminous 20 ft. wide. Shoulders 2 ft. wide 1 ¼ course base. Contractor is responsible for traffic and erosion control. Proof of insurance to be provided by winning bidder.

TOWN OF HOWARD CHIPPEWA COUNTY
The following seasonal or special weight limits shall be effective on March 5, 2026 on all Town of Howard town highways, which are declared to be class “B” highways under s. 349.15(2) Wis. Stats. Weight limits as posted. No persons shall operate any vehicles on the above noted highways, in violation of the above noted weight limits, without a written permit issued by the town board of the Town of Howard, and any violation shall be subject to penalties under s. 348.21, Wis. Stats.
