TOWN OF HOWARD CHIPPEWA COUNTY

The following seasonal or special weight limits shall be effective on March 5, 2026 on all Town of Howard town highways, which are declared to be class “B” highways under s. 349.15(2) Wis. Stats. Weight limits as posted. No persons shall operate any vehicles on the above noted highways, in violation of the above noted weight limits, without a written permit issued by the town board of the Town of Howard, and any violation shall be subject to penalties under s. 348.21, Wis. Stats.

Posted at the Village of Lake Hallie/Public Safety Building, Lafayette Fire Station/Town Hall, and Howard Town Hall. Commission and Board members for the Village of Lake Hallie, Town of Hallie, Lafayette, and Howard may be in attendance to observe the Board Meeting. If there are more than three Commission members present from the Town and Village, this may create a quorum. Such a quorum is unintended, and the non-members are not meeting for the purpose of exercising the responsibility, authority, power, or duties of any other Board or Commission.
